Under the authority granted the president in the by-laws of the San Diego Bicycle Club, Section III-L – Meetings, Notice of Meetings, Decisions of the Board, Members Attendance at Board Meetings, a special meeting of the Board of Directors has been called for Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.

Items to be discussed:

1) Filling these open positions. Nominations will be accepted from the floor:

  • President
  • Executive Race Director: Coordinates Barrio Logan Grand Prix with paid staff + new races.
  • Equipment *: Tracks our equipment & sells excess; maintains our storage space.
  • Special Events *: Annual banquet. Club Night(s). Other non-ride events.
  • Volunteers*: Mostly online. Manages volunteer sign-ups.

The positions may be converted to non-voting ex officio positions at the request of the nominee. Holders of non-voting positions may attend Board meetings at their option.

Team Directors:

  • Men’s Cat 1-2 Racing - Men’s teams may be combined to meet the needs of the teams
  • Men’s Cat 3 Racing
  • Men’s Cat 45 Racing
  • Masters Racing

2) Updating the slate to be presented at the Annual Meeting of the Members on 12-14-21.

3) The motion on flags & banners - motion will be included with the formal agenda.

4) Reaffirmation of actions taken at the November 9, 2021 board meeting including Approval of the October 12, 2021 minutes and the October 2021 financials, and the Withdrawal of the motion to remove directors for non-attendance.
