A Fast and Unique Figure Eight Criterium Experience

Join us at Southern California’s premier cycling event! Open to men and women of all levels—from professional and Olympic-level cyclists to first-time racers—Barrio Logan Grand Prix offers fast-paced, exciting competition. Race alongside top amateurs and pro athletes in a challenging and fun environment. BLGP is also proud to host the prestigious SCNCA Junior Criterium Championships!

The 0.8-mile race course winds through the historic Barrio Logan district in downtown San Diego, starting and ending on Newton Avenue, directly across from Perkins Elementary School. Spectators will have multiple opportunities to view the racers from various points along the course throughout the Barrio Logan area.

A free bike safety rodeo for kids will take place at 11:15 AM, offering complimentary helmets, supported by Performance Contracting, Barrett Engineered Pumps, and Life Sports Foundation. Bring your bike and join the free community kids' race to the finish line at 11:40 AM!

The Course

A 0.8-mile course through the historic Barrio Logan district in downtown San Diego, featuring a fairly flat, fast, and challenging "figure-eight" layout.

Parking

Free parking is available for racers, all day (0600 - 1830), at the multi-level parking lot located at:

1904 National Avenue
San Diego, CA 92113

This parking area is just 0.2 miles (a 2-minute ride) from the registration desk and race course. Parking passes will be emailed to all registered racers the day before the event, sent to the email address provided during registration.

For Team Directors

There are a limited number of 10x10 VIP Canopy spaces available near registration and the race course. These spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so please contact the Race Director as soon as possible to secure your spot. Note: No additional groups will be permitted to set up in the BLGP Racer's Village once all spaces are filled.

In response to evolving insurance regulations, city requirements, and to reduce event liability, team canopies, support vehicles, and related setups must be positioned within the designated Racers Village. Set-ups outside of this area—such as on sidewalks, streets, or areas not covered by the City event permit—will not be allowed.

For Vendors

We’re excited to offer premium marketing opportunities for vendors to engage with the community at the race venue. If you're interested in reserving a 10x10 space to showcase your services or promotions, please reach out to the Race Director. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to contact us early to secure your spot.
