Do you shop at Amazon.com? If so, it's easy for you to
help SDBC receive donations from Amazon to SDBC. Just use the "Amazon Smile” charitable process in your account. Amazon Smile funnels a small
percentage of their eligible purchase revenue to SDBC if you activate Amazon Smile in your account and choose “San Diego Bicycle Club” as
the beneficiary nonprofit. Instead of logging in through
"amazon.com" you log-in through “smile.amazon.com.” Very
easy to use. It is EXACTLY the same shopping experience. Nothing changes except SDBC receives contributions from Amazon. | |

We have recently updated methods by which we confirm each member has signed the club waiver. When you log into your SDBC account through the website, you may see a check box with the text " I have read and agree to the SDBC Waiver and Release of Liability" in red. Please read the waiver by clicking on the text, then check the box to confirm, and finally click on the Save and Continue button at the bottom of the page. You will not be able to make changes to your information without accepting the waiver. You will only have to complete this once and we then have a record for each member.
Thanks for your help, and feel free to contact me directly with any questions at membership@sdbc.org. See you on the roads!

A Note From the President |
|
I want to lead the club in a virtual "THANK YOU" to Mike McLaughlin for his 4 years of dedication as President of SDBC. He will remain an integral part of the board and club as our Secretary, but has handed the gavel to me. I am 100% committed to lead the club to the best of my ability on an as-agreed upon, temporary basis, while looking for someone to assume the role on a permanent basis. We are at an interesting junction in the club's history - a chance to really shine and re-build our Director positions in 2022. All have an important role in making the club run smoothly, but in particular, we need to identify a Race Director for our Men's 1/2/3 team. We have 404 members currently, and I am sure that among our members, we will find people to step up and support a club we all love - that's why I put my hat in the ring! So, if you have some time to give back to the club, please take a look at the positions below, and if you have any questions, or have even the smallest glimmer of interest, let me know ASAP!
For those of you who celebrated Hanukkah, I hope it was filled with hope, love, and joy. For those of you celebrating Kwanzaa, Las Posadas, and Christmas, may this holiday be also filled with health, happiness, and love.
OPEN DIRECTOR POSITIONS:
Special Events Director
Executive Race Director (Barrio Logan)
Volunteer Director
Master's Team Director
Men's 1/2/3 Team Director
