Do you shop at Amazon.com? If so, it's easy for you to
help SDBC receive donations from Amazon to SDBC. Just use the "Amazon Smile” charitable process in your account. Amazon Smile funnels a small
percentage of their eligible purchase revenue to SDBC if you activate Amazon Smile in your account and choose “San Diego Bicycle Club” as
the beneficiary nonprofit. Instead of logging in through
"amazon.com" you log-in through “smile.amazon.com.” Very
easy to use. It is EXACTLY the same shopping experience. Nothing changes except SDBC receives contributions from Amazon. | |

Last call for 2021 SDBC 75th Anniversary kit! The final 2021 store will close on October 28th. The new store will open some time in mid-November with the 2022 kit. Given the long delay in shipping, if you want anything from Pactimo with the 75th anniversary design before Christmas, you will need to place your order by 10/14. The 10/28 store orders will not arrive before Christmas. Stay tuned for the preview of the 2022 kit featuring our new Title Sponsor, Bonnici Law Group.

From the Training
Director |
| Please No
Public Urination | |
Several riders were observed recently urinating on the south side of Cafe LaTerre by one of the hair stylists. This is completely unacceptable. It risks our relationship with our sponsor, his relationship with the landlord and other tenants, and the club's reputation in the community. At least one rider was in a SDBC Jersey and part of one of our groups. There are restrooms available inside the salon and also inside CVS. Also please keep the restrooms clean. A Note From the
Volunteer Director |
| Volunteer Director Needed | |
After serving so many years in this position, it is time for me to step down.
If you have been
enjoying the benefits of this club, it is time to step up and join the Board of Directors.
The BOD meets monthly. The Volunteer Director’s
job is simply to round up volunteers for our various events. Online volunteer sites make this task so much easier than when I started in this
position. Our great club members never fail to step up when needed to get the job done.
Please contact me if you are interested. I would be
happy to share more information. Linda Webb SDBC Volunteer Director volunteer@sdbc.org |

A Note From the
Volunteer Director |
| Looking for Someone to Take the Lead on the Borrego Ride and Camp | |
After 20 years, Team Webb has decided it's time to pass the baton on this trip. We are looking for someone
to take the reins, hopefully, and keep it going.
This is a 2 day event, riding from Mira Mesa Park and Ride to Borrego Palm Canyon Campground
and returning the next day. Sag vehicles carry your camp gear. SDBC provides dinner and breakfast. Everyone helps with cooking and camp clean up.
Keep it the same? Change it up? That would be your call. If no one steps up, there will be no trip this year.
We are willing to
help.
Contact Linda with your questions and ideas. Linda Webb SDBC Volunteer

A Note From the Fiesta Island Time Trial
Director |
| Master Timer needed for Fiesta Island Time Trial Series | |
We have an opening for a Master Timer at our Fiesta Island Time Trial Series. We are looking for a
dependable, somewhat tech orientated, motivated, team building person, to fill our very instrumental position of Master Timer. We have 4-5 Time Trials
per year and our Time Trials are typically over by 9:00 A.M. so the time commitment is minimal.
Our SDBC Fiesta Island Time Trial Staff is a
fun, tight knit group. You will enjoy camaraderie with your fellow SDBC members, and I take the team out for a de-brief breakfast meeting immediately
following each Time Trial. Our next Time Trial is October 17, so if you think that you are a good fit contact me directly. Email me at: fittdirector@sdbc.org
