| SDBC Gravel Ride |

Save the date! February 1st, 2020!
Join us for the first San Diego Bicycle Club gravel ride. Departing UC Cyclery at 8:30am.
This will be a semi-mellow to moderate pace with regroups so that everyone can experience the gravel scene and have a good time.
Tubeless wheels recommended. Bring extra tubes if not! The Ride Spinergy crew will be out there leading the way.

SDBC gravel + extra credit adds a drop in to Penesquitos after the normal route. 8:30 roll out.
The Gravel ++ is for those who need some Rock Cobbler training. Starts and ends by Coronado Tasting room off Sea World Drive. Its the original PBO power ride plus the SDBC gravel ride in the middle of it. 6:30am roll out.

| 73rd Annual SDBC Banquet of Champions |

The SDBC 73rd Annual Banquet of Champions was a grand event for the 159 who attended.

There were 7 of our sponsors in attendance with a table for each of them to teach us about their companies and provide some fun for the attendees. Then we had raffles for prizes from each of the Sponsors who were there. Everyone enjoyed the interaction.
We got updates on all the racing teams and the outlook for another winning season for SDBC.
For the normal club raffle, we provided many gift cards and 2, that’s TWO, sets of Spinergy wheels for lucky winners.
After dinner we of course honored our annual Best Rider categories and top 3 overall awards. Give a big Congratulations to these honorees:

| 2020 Fiesta Island Time Trial Series |

The next Fiesta Island Time Trial for 2020 is Sunday, April 12th!
New for FITT 2020 is an exciting Category we are calling “Hot Lap”. This will be an “All Out” one lap effort. Have you ever wondered what elapsed time you could post at Fiesta Island for one lap under race conditions? Now is your chance. This new category will also enjoy reduced entry fees as both a stand alone race, and as an “add on” race.
So come on out this year and try out this exciting new Category!

Fiesta Island Time Trials is San Diego's original time trial series since 1998.
The top six finishers in each category are eligible to earn points towards series competition. Prizes and awards will be given to series winners at the last race of the season.
Join all the competitors to see who can ride the quickest 20K, improve the most, or log your best PR. Single riders, tandems, and teams all compete for top honors and island records.
