The deadline for Weekly Update submissions is Noon on Wednesday. Updates are published on Thursdays. Email submissions to weekly@sdbc.org Submissions can include anything from photos to race reports and results, etc.

Classifieds for bikes and cycling related gear can be submitted by any SDBC member. Your add will run for three weeks. In the event you have not sold your items at the end of three weeks you can re-submit the ad. Email your classified submissions to weekly@sdbc.org. Please provide any photos in the original size if possible.

It’s Sunday, January 26th from 5-9 p.m.

Get your tickets to the Annual SDBC Banquet of Champions - on the web site starting 1 Jan. Join all your other club members in celebrating the past year and the great club we are all a part of. Have a chance to win a set of Spinergy wheels, still in the box. The wheels will be a grand prize in the raffle for the evening.

Last year was an amazing party! Everyone raved about the Banquet of Champions. Happy Hour from 5:00 to 6:00 with those delicious bacon wrapped shrimp as one of the appetizers. A great buffet (vegan options available) with specifics revealed in the newsletter each week, PLUS race team and ride leader recognition + racing awards + Cyclist of the Year, Teammate of the Year, and Ride Leader of the Year recognitions. And an amazing raffle - if you have a prize to donate let us know.

Cost is $35 per adult and $19 for juniors 12 and under. Register online at sdbc.org after 1 Jan. Seating is limited so book early.

The next Fiesta Island Time Trial for 2020 is Sunday, April 16th!

New for FITT 2020 is an exciting Category we are calling “Hot Lap”. This will be an “All Out” one lap effort. Have you ever wondered what elapsed time you could post at Fiesta Island for one lap under race conditions? Now is your chance. This new category will also enjoy reduced entry fees as both a stand alone race, and as an “add on” race.

So come on out this year and try out this exciting new Category!

Fiesta Island Time Trials is San Diego's original time trial series since 1998.

The top six finishers in each category are eligible to earn points towards series competition. Prizes and awards will be given to series winners at the last race of the season.

Join all the competitors to see who can ride the quickest 20K, improve the most, or log your best PR. Single riders, tandems, and teams all compete for top honors and island records.

UC Cyclery is looking for one or two Part-Time Salespeople to join our sales team. We are all team players working in a true team environment. Prior sales experience is a plus, and knowledge of bikes (Specialized would be great!) is a must. Shifts will include one weekend day.
