2019 SDBC Sponsors

Spinergy is our new title sponsor, UC Cyclery is continuing as our official bike club and sponsor of the men's and women's Cat 1/2 teams.

The deadline for Weekly Update submissions is Noon on Wednesday. Updates are published on Thursdays. Email submissions to weekly@sdbc.org Submissions can include anything from photos to race reports and results, etc.

Classifieds for bikes and cycling related gear can be submitted by any SDBC member. Your add will run for three weeks. In the event you have not sold your items at the end of three weeks you can re-submit the ad. Email your classified submissions to weekly@sdbc.org. Please provide any photos in the original size if possible.

• The Annual Banquet of Champions was last Sunday, January 27th. Congradulations to all of the 2018 award winners!
• With the racing season well underway we have a couple of race reports on Facebook from Greg Clunies and Daniel Zitter. Take a moment to read the reports and learn about the winning strategies used by Greg and Daniel.
• The next Fiesta Island Time Trial is March 10th so start making your plans now.
• The 2019 Kit is available for purchase now. Orders take 3-4 weeks for delivery from the close of the store. The curent store closes on January 28th with estimated delivery February 26th.

The Annual Banquet of Champions was held last Sunday in the Catalina Room at Marina Village. A great time was had by all that attended. The Best All-Around Rider (BAR), Ride Leader of the Year, Teammate of the Year, and Cyclist of the Year awards were presented to the recipients.

Thanks to all that attended and all thr volunteers that helped to make this event special!

The next Fiesta Island Time Trial for 2019 is Sunday, March 10th!

Fiesta Island Time Trials is San Diego's original time trial series since 1998.

The top six finishers in each category are eligible to earn points towards series competition. Prizes and awards will be given to series winners at the last race of the season.

Join all the competitors to see who can ride the quickest 20K, improve the most, or log your best PR. Single riders, tandems, and teams all compete for top honors and island records.

2019 SDBC Kit Design

The 2019 SDBC Kit was unveiled to SDBC members recently during club night at UCC. The Pactimo store is now open. Click the images for larger views.

To purchase SDBC clothing browse to the club web site to get the team password under Members->SDBC Clothing. Then visit the Pactimo Team Order web site and use the SDBC team password to gain access to the store. Please note that during checkout if it is the first time you have ordered clothing from Pactimo, you will need to register to create your an account.
