The deadline for Weekly Update submissions is Noon on Wednesday. Updates are published on Thursdays. Email submissions to weekly@sdbc.org Submissions can include anything from photos to race reports and results, etc.

Classifieds for bikes and cycling related gear can be submitted by any SDBC member. Your add will run for three weeks. In the event you have not sold your items at the end of three weeks you can re-submit the ad. Email your classified submissions to weekly@sdbc.org. Please provide any photos in the original size if possible.

2018 SDBC Kit Design

The 2018 SDBC Kit is available at the Pactimo online store. Click the images above for larger views. Orders take approximately four weeks for delivery. The current store closes on 12/29 with an estimated delivery of 1/29. See the Pactimo site for details.

To purchase SDBC clothing browse to the club web site to get the team password under Members->SDBC Clothing. Then visit the Pactimo Team Order web site and use the SDBC team password to gain access to the store. Please note that during checkout if it is the first time you have ordered clothing from Pactimo, you will need to register to create your an account.

Stolen Bicycles Returned to Owners

An SDBC member, Miki Vuckovich, reached out to the person that found the stoloen bike bikes and offered some ideas on locating the owner and a lot of encouragement and thanks for her efforts. She sent Miki the message below.

Miki, guess what, my persistence paid off.  A sticker on the bike from Bicycle Sports Shop in Austin, Texas, ran the serial number and “bingo” purchaser’s name and phone number from 2 years ago were still current.  I called the number today and the young man confirmed both bicycles were stolen from his back yard.  It turns out he lives about a block from where I found them in South Park.  Hayden came to pick up his Specialized bike and his roommates bike today.  His birthday is in one week – so a very wonderful surprise.  I appreciate your email encouragement a week or so ago because friends I told my story to said “I would never find the owner”.  I have one up on them now.  I’m so happy I worked so hard.  I’ve learned a lot from this experience.
