SDBC 2016 Sponsors
We have some new sponsors this year - Chrome Dome Caps, Overland & Shanahan Wealth Advisors, Sheffield Platers, Purely Cloud, and Pro Athlete Law Group.
Emerald Textiles will continue as our title sponsor, UC Cyclery is continuing as our official bike club and sponsor of the men's and women's Cat 1/2 teams, and many sponsors that have supported us for years will continue to support us this year.
Please support our sponsors. Without them SDBC would not be able to maintain the racing teams and other activities that we have all enjoyed. Visit the sponsors page on the SDBC web site to view more information about each of our sponsors or click the logos to go the specific sponsor's web site. |

Remember, your SDBC membership includes membership in the San Diego County Bike Coalition which includes a number of benefits. See the new coalition website at http://sdbikecoalition.org.
Safety tip of the week: Read Seth Davidson's outstanding pvcycling blog article, "The Color of Stupid", about balancing fun and competition with safety on group rides. Be sure and click on the video linked halfway down in bold (about lighting up Facebook). Talk about a bonehead move... yowza!

SDBC Sunday Ride, 1/31 |
Black Mountain Side (courtesy of Jimmy Page) |
44.5 miles with some decent climbing. Leaves UC Cyclery at 8:30, led by SDBC ride leader, regrouping as needed, coffee stop at Java Depot in Solana Beach before return.
A great route up Black Mountain Rd with a tough little off-shoot climb, then through Rancho Santa Fe, eventually hitting the coast via Manchester/Chesterfield for a sprint up the hill to Java. Nice!
Bring two bottles of fluid and be ready to roll at 8:30. A group photo will be emailed to you afterwards with ride write-up.
Our aim is to stay safe, be challenged, and and have fun together.
